Between €5,000 and €20,000, fixed price per phase
That is the usual range for developing an AI application at Tecnea, excluding VAT, from an application on one process to a complete one integrated with your ERP. Before that, a proof of concept (pilot) from €850 is the first investment: it shows the base of the application on real cases, validates the solution technically and refines the requirements, so the scope of the full project is closed with less uncertainty and less cost. Afterwards, a monthly fee from €250 for the duration of the contract covers the service infrastructure, the AI provider account, maintenance and evolution, with no per-user licences.

What stays yours, in writing
The questions a demanding buyer would ask before signing, answered in advance:
- Ownership of the source code, prompts, configurations and documentation developed specifically for your project is set out in the contract, with clear clauses, in your company's favour. Tecnea's own components on which it is built remain Tecnea's and are used within the service.
- Infrastructure dedicated to your company and the AI provider account, contracted and operated by Tecnea and included in the monthly fee for as long as the contract lasts.
- Complete technical documentation of the system, delivered with it and kept up to date during the contract.
- Your data stays yours: hosted in the European Union or in your environment, never used to train third-party models.
- No lock-in to an AI vendor: the application can switch models without being rebuilt.
- Intellectual property and exit terms defined in the contract; no per-user licences.
Technology
How it is built
Web and mobile applications with TypeScript and Next.js, PostgreSQL databases, and language models from the main providers hosted in the European Union when personal data is involved, or private models when the data requires it. The application does not depend on one provider: the model can be swapped without rebuilding it. Every model call is logged: what was asked, with which data and what was answered.

Generic AI tools do not know your prices, your customers or your processes, and your team ends up copying and pasting company data into them. Who owns the application's code?+
Your company's, by contract: ownership of the source code, documentation and data developed specifically for your project is set out in the contract with clear clauses. Tecnea's own components on which it is built remain Tecnea's and are used within the service. There are no per-user licences.
Which artificial intelligence models do you use?+
Whichever solve each task best: models from the main providers hosted in Europe, and private models when the data is sensitive. The application does not depend on one provider and the model can be swapped without rebuilding it.
How much does a custom AI application cost for a company?+
In most cases, between €5,000 and €20,000 excluding VAT, depending on the process and the integrations. We work with a fixed price per phase: the proof of concept (pilot), from €850, is the first investment and we only continue if the result justifies it. Afterwards, a monthly fee from €250 for the duration of the contract covers infrastructure, the AI account and maintenance.
How long does development take?+
The pilot, a proof of concept, is ready to demonstrate two to four weeks after the process is defined; the complete product, in production, eight to twelve.
Does it integrate with my ERP?+
Yes. We integrate with ERPs and management systems from different vendors, via API or file exchange when there is no API. The integration is defined in the diagnosis.
Does the application comply with the EU AI Act and GDPR?+
Yes, and it is documented: register of AI systems, legal basis for processing, data location, transparency towards users and human oversight in the decisions that require it.
Who will work on my project?+
A senior, stable team: the business analysis, documented, drives the development, and the same team maintains the application afterwards. No rotation, no middlemen, and everything documented so the project never depends on a single person.
What if we want to switch providers in three years?+
Yes. The code developed for your company is yours and another provider can continue it, and the application does not depend on a specific AI provider. When the contract ends, the fee stops with the notice set out in the contract; the infrastructure, the AI provider account and Tecnea's components are part of the service and are either replaced or their continuation is agreed, on the terms set out in the contract. There are no per-user licences.
